Aerial Cinematography
As one of Scotland leading aerial teams our drones can be used to deliver aerials for Feature Films, TV, TVC and Social.
Over the years we have developed our skill to shoot aerial GV’s to tell a story, from flying low and fast to capturing tracking shots of cars, horses, boats and trains. Always working on a solutions to capture the shot the director desires, even if it requires a crane to indoor shots we will pick the right aircraft to make this possible.
We have a range for six drones for different applications from our heavy lift drone for flying big lenses and camera packages to the speedy Inspire 3.
Non-Standard Flight Permissions
Aerial Frontiers is approved by the CAA to fly 15m from people and structures out of their control, instead of the standard 50m. This makes it easier for us to gain permission from City Councils and in turn we can offer more creative aerial shots.
Heavy lift drone - Freefly Alta 8
Our heavy lift drone is designed for flying heavy camera and lens packages i.e Alexa Mini and RED’s. Zoom lens can me mounted to change focal length in the air with full FIZ control.
The Alta 8 can offer an option to equip the camera on top for shots looking upwards. This airframe is super stable making it perfect for flying indoor and crane shots.
The Airframe can flys up to speeds of 30mph and up to wind speeds of 22mph.
FPV Drones
We have a range of FPV drones from Racers to Cinematic Ducked drones.
These little drones offer a different perspective from conventional drones.
Racers offer high speeds of 100mph + and highspeed maneuvers. Ducked offer protected props and Ducked offer protected props and are able to fly at slow speeds through small spaces to help tell a story
DJI Inspire 3
The Inspire 3 is the drone of the future small and nibble with flying speeds of 55mph with a 30min flight time.
This airframe is combined with the X9 camera with a full frame sensor shooting 8K RAW.
combined with the RTK system we can make repeated flight paths down to 2cm accuracy for repeated shots.
DJI Inspire 2
The Inspire 2 is our smaller aircraft perfect for those shoots that require speed with still offering a high quality image.
This airframe the X7 camera is built into the aircraft offering a super 35mm sensor shooting 4k ProRes or 6k RAW with changeable lenses.
The I2 can fly up to speeds of 55mph up to wind speeds of 30mph.
Aerial 360
360 filming is the new and exciting immersive film experience - Giving the viewer a chance to step into a new world.
We are supplying a new experience to step into an aerial view of a location of your choice. We use the new GoPro Omni to shoot 360. Please get in contact to enquire about Aerial 360 and stitching footage.
We also fly a twin GH5 system to offer higher resolution option.
Live Aerial Broadcasting
Our team offer live aerial broadcasting using a wide range of our drones. This can and has been used for all sorts of events such as sports, festivals etc.
We supply converters for 1080ip for the broadcast truck. Also we can provide two teams to your location, to cover more of the event and not miss any of the action.
